Is tipping really necessary?

Whenever I go out to eat I always feel like I am FORCED to tip the waitress. I mean, I know its always good to tip and whatnot but sometimes I don't feel like they really deserve a tip. Besides, its their job. They get paid to do what they do. It may not be much but hey, if somone is depending upon tips to get them by then I would suggest for them to find another job. Maybe Im being too harsh but from now on, the most any waiter or waitress will get from me is 2 or 3 dollars. Five dollars at the MOST if their service is superb.

Been gone for a minute but Im back

Today I got my first real paycheck (considering Ive only been working for about three weeks now) and I must admit that I was quite pleased with it. I guess my job isn't so bad afterall especially since there are millions of people out there WITHOUT jobs.

Spur of the Moment New Years resolution #2: Be more grateful.

I cant say that I am an ungratful person because I'm definitely not, but I really need to start being grateful for the simple things like being able to get up and have a job to go to and money in my pocket.
